Process solution for automatic fin positioning at fin stamping lines

Automated positioning reduces the scrap rate in the manufacture of radiator fins

Are you familiar with the problem of having to manually set the correct positioning value on the cutting tool when using automatic fin positioning?

We have a new automatic or, alternatively, semi-automatic process solution for this: a compact system that achieves a positioning accuracy of ± 0.1 mm for offset fins.

Continuously positioning during production process

This innovative system is based on years of experience with fin forming fin multi track fin lines and the subsequent trimming process. It achieves a positioning accuracy of ±0.01 mm for each individual fin track – with every track being adjusted independently. In addition, no change of parts is required when switching products; the system only needs to be recalibrated.

The benefits of the compact positioning system at a glance:

+ Semi automated system, repeatable operator settings
+ Expandable to a fully automatic redundant system
+ Low scrap rate for fins
+ Risk reduction for damaged fins in cooler systems
+ Higher quality output, higher first past yield
+ Positioning accuracy
+ Easy to handle in production
+ Manage different fin pitches

Compelling benefits for you:

+ High quality output
+ High process capability
+ Higher OEE
+ Accuracy ± 0.01 mm
+ Feeder length up to 3800 mm
+ Feeder speed 3 m/sec
+ Reduced setup time (vs. manual possibilities < 5 min)
+ Repeatability
