Retrofit machines – technically like new, economically attractive

Our retrofit machines combine the best of both worlds:
the proven, robust machine base meets modern technology.

The result:
a press that is as good as new in terms of performance, safety and reliability - but with significantly shorter delivery times and attractive investment costs.

For customers who want to build up capacity in the short term or make targeted investments in existing machine concepts, retrofitting is an economically sensible addition to the classic new machine.

For example:

What sets our retrofit machines apart:

  • Technically new:
Replacement of all relevant components - including ram, guides, eccentric shaft, bearings, electrical and pneumatic systems
  • Current safety & control:
New safety technology, modern control cabinet and revised control system including PLC programming
  • Individual configuration:
Customization according to customer specifications, whether central lubrication, belt lubrication, feed technology or IoT-capable extensions
  • Certified quality:
Commissioning and performance test according to test plan, documented and ready for operation

Your benefits with a retrofit Schaal excenter press:

What does a press retrofit mean?

As part of a retrofit, only the cast body with press base is retained - all other attachments are professionally dismantled and disposed of.

After a thorough quality check, the cast body is cleaned, refurbished and repainted.

Assembly then begins with modern components:

These include new ram guides, rams, eccentric shaft, a completely new bearing as well as electrical and pneumatic cable routing.

In addition, a revised feed, belt lubrication, central lubrication and the latest electrical and pneumatic attachments will be integrated.

The safety technology will be completely renewed and brought up to date. A new control cabinet with modern press control and revised PLC programming is of course also part of the scope.

Customer-specific requirements can – following joint consultation – be individually taken into account and adapted or supplemented accordingly.

After commissioning and performance testing in accordance with the test plan, the result is a technically as good as new press – ready for your future production tasks.
