What does a press retrofit mean?
When ordering new systems, we also buy old systems. However, when such a system is refurbished as a retrofit, only the casting body with the press foot remains, which we continue to use. This is because, as we all know, the cast part gets better and better over the years. All other attachments are scrapped.
After quality control of the cast body, it is cleaned, reworked and repainted.
Assembly then begins with new components such as ram guides, ram and eccentric shaft as well as a completely new bearing and the installation of electrical and pneumatic lines. This is followed by the revised feed and other add-on parts such as belt lubrication, central lubrication, electrical and pneumatic add-on parts as well as completely new safety technology.
A completely new switch cabinet with press control and revised PLC programming is of course also integrated. Finally, commissioning and performance testing are carried out according to the test plan; and a new stamping machine has been created.
